Firstly very Happy New Year to our customers and suppliers. A new lockdown was not what we all wanted but we are prepared. As with the first lockdown we would like to reassure customers that MCI is open for business and stands ready to provide support in whatever way we can.
An effective business continuity plan is in place and our stock levels remain strong. Incoming orders are being processed as usual, and we will continue to deliver in short time frames subject to carrier availability.
We are continuing to closely monitor government advice and have been proactive in taking steps to reduce risk and ensure the health and wellbeing of our staff, customers and the wider community. Employees are working remotely where possible, and suitable precautionary measures have been put in place to protect team members carrying out business critical roles at our Poole headquarters.
In terms of Brexit we are pleased to see a Brexit deal and we have signed a new agreement with the transport and logistics company Europa Worldwide. This ensures a smooth transition of supply of goods and paperwork for our customers in Europe and the UK.
